After Sonoma 14.4.1 update Display Port does not work properly on Mac 16 Intel

Hi, community, I am not sure if there are any insights in here.

My external monitor became useless after my update to the new Sonoma 14.4.1.

I connected it through the display port directly to my Acer CB282K and used it to extend the desktop to the external.

The behaviour now is a mix of extended and mirrored monitors, as crazy as it sounds. The monitor works as an extended area if I do not maximize any apps. If I maximize any app, the Desktop on the other monitor becomes black, and the swipe is synced on both monitors as a mirror, oddly.

The expected behaviour is having different apps maximized and with independent swapping as before.

I tried resetting VRAM and all the other suggestions I found and sent a bug report to the display link manufacturer.

Is there anyone with any other solutions or experiencing the same bug?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.4
