I was able to see WhatsApp notifications in my today view when I swipe right on the Lock Screen. But today I noticed that WhatsApp is not showing up on the screen. I’m unable to find the App in the add widget field. Could someone please help me with this. I’m not happy with new update

No, you cannot add the widget. There's another thread on this and WhatsApp replied to a user this was intentional on their end. Since they no longer support adding a widget, it's not possible to add one. WhatsApp is owned by Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram. Apple has no control over WhatsApp.

For whatever reason, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, not Apple has chosen to remove their App from Widgets. You are more than welcome to complain to WhatsApp. Apple has nothing to do with this.
