MACBOOK AIR BATTERY DOESNT HOLD SONOMA

since some weeks ago my mac's battery lasts a little over 2 hours, while doing my ususal study tasks. Nothing has changed in terms of usage. OS Sonoma version 14.3.1 (23D60)

Help please?

New Mac Battery Drain Issue I purchased a new (not refurbished) Macbook Air M2 256gb/16gb 3 days ago. However, my battery has been draining rapidly (we're talking 100% to 10-15% in 3-3.5 hours) ever since I bought it. For the first 2 days I was just setting up the Mac and didn't even use Chrome for very long. I don't know if I should take it to the service center or wait for a few days to see if the battery stabilises. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Any comments would be super helpful and greatly appreciated!

Battery report "poor' - remedy to return to normal? My 2017 Macbook Air (macOS Monterey) has suddenly reported a 'poor' battery. It appears to be as a result of several hours of downloading my recent travel videos to UTube. Downloading was done while charging and via Safari. The battery has always been 100%. I am really hoping the battery will revert back to its usual 100% - but any suggestions as to bring this about more rapidly? Do i need to have concerns? Thank you.

Try and update to the latest version of Sonoma (14.4.1) first. After that try and go to settings>battery. What is stated there?

yea it offered me to update and I did , but no changes unfortunately.

it became very slow too now. Freezez a lot.

What to do please?
