How do I adjust scrolling through the timeline in iMovie?

I have 4 clips in the timeline, they are saved PDF's of websites from Safari. The first one scrolls from the top to the bottom. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th starts scroll from the bottom up to the top of the sites. I can't figure out why these are scrolling up from the bottom. Can someone help?

iMovie is not reading your PDF as a scrolling PDF. Export the PDF to your desktop so that it becomes a video. Then import it into your project, select it in the timeline, and click on the speed icon that should now be activated. Then click on the reverse option. It will flip and play backwards. I’m not sure whether text will appear as a backwards mirror image.

The speed control does not apply to photos, but only to videos. Photos have no speed (frames per second). Photos only have duration (running time). So the speed control will not activate for jpegs. As I previously suggested, export the PDF to your desk top as a video and import the video back into your project.
