Hey there
so when I go into Snapchat it says I need to allow access to camera and takes me to settings. I don’t know how this suddenly happened because I’ve been using Snapchat for more than a year now. There is no option to change anything in the place it takes me. I’ve read from other people that you need to go to privacy and turn on the respective app. But when I do go there, it doesn’t show anything. What should I do???

I wasn't being rude at all. I was responding to the same poster I had advised where to go to give access to the camera. If you note, they responded to themself, after my advice.
I am having the same problem and when I go to privacy and security and go to camera the only thing there is “app clips” I checked everything else under privacy and security and there’s nothing in there.
you can search for snapchat in your settings and it should then show up, then you should be able to give it permission to use your camera
Open the Settings app. Tap Privacy & Security. Tap Camera and look for Snapchat to make sure the switch is turned on there.
That’s the thing. There is no camera access button!
You didn't go where I told you to go. So no, you're right, there is no camera access, because that is not where you turn it on. Read my post. I told you exactly where to go.
