iPhone not charging after updating to iOS 17.4.1

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix the real issue.

I’m also having the same problem on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I updated overnight and today my phone doesn’t charge. Took it to the Apple Store and Genius Bar confirmed it was likely a software problem as they have received reports of the same thing.

I'm having the same issue with my iPhone 13. I updated it to (17.4.1) and since then it stopped charging. I've already tested it with 2 chargers/cables and in different outlets. I tried turning off optimized charging but it didn't help. I used the remaining battery to back up and reset to factory settings, but it didn't fix the charging problem. It's now turned off and won't charge anymore.

After the last update my iphone charges until 50% and then send me a notification saying that my phone connector has water. I have to wait 3 minutes and connect it again to complete the full charge

The Genius Bar solved the problem in any way?
