The same for me I tried to buy from the Apple Store only to be told my OS is too old and that no versions are available for 12.7.5 There must be a older version available for thos who bought it in the past, why can't I buy it? Seems crazy to me I simple cant afford to but a newer iMac and the one I have works perfectly well with evything els.
There are many step-by-step tutorials available in the internet. The short version is: You need to purchase Logic in the AppStore with your AppleID on a computer that is compatible with the most recent version of Logic. This could be a computer of a trusted person. After that, sign in to the AppStore on the computer with the old MacOS, you should see Logic in your purchase history and should be able to install a compatible version.
This was possible with Logic 10, I don't know if this is still possible with Logic 11.
Thanks Ben yes I’ve seen that, but I was nervous about spending £199. and then it not working and getting a refund if not an official Apple process?
it seems crazy to me that Apple don’t want to take my money - are they so wealthy they don’t need it, or so greedy they just want to force people to replace perfectly good machines with new ones. Apple used to be a user friendly company.
