Trying to change lock screen passcode on my daughters iphone 14 iOS version 17.4.1 can anyone help?

Went into settings and was trying to find face id & passwords like directions are saying but ours shows face id & assistance under settings.

iPhone 14, iOS 17

Check Screen Time Restrictions:

If you or someone with access to your device has enabled Restrictions through Screen Time, it can hide the Face ID and Passcode settings. Here's how to check:

  • Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  • If Screen Time has a passcode, you'll need to enter it to proceed.
  • Tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  • Scroll down to the Allow Changes section.
  • Look for Passcode Changes. Make sure it's set to Allow. If it says Don't Allow, tap on it and switch it to Allow.

This should bring back the Face ID and Passcode option in your Settings app.
