How do I fix my right AirPod not working?

I’ve disconnected then reconnected the case/AirPods multiple times with no changes, in addition to cleaning the screens/connectors. Any suggestions?

Hi Lish73,

This is my first post helping another person, hope you find this helpful!

I have personally encountered this problem so follow the steps below:

How to restart the AirPods:

  • AirPods (all generations) or AirPods Pro (all generations): Put the AirPods in their case, then close the lid for a minimum of 10 seconds.

Now, if this above doesn't work (which you most likely already tried), then you could try to factory reset the AirPods:

  • AirPods (all generations) or AirPods Pro (all generations): Put the AirPods in their case, close the lid, then wait 30 seconds. Open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white. (This will reset and you can then pair them again, by putting them close to the phone or setting it up in Bluetooth!)
