Phone Shutting down after iOS 17.4 update

Hey…after updating iOS 17.4.1 my phone keeps shutting down and restarting itself unexpectedly…..battery health is okay and battery life is 94%…kindly advise on what to do please

My battery maximum capacity is at 94% and the storage available is of 80.5GB .Everything is okay as you asked.Am still encountering the problem of shutting down and phone restarting itself unexpectedly.

Kindly is there another way to resolve the problem??

1) Double check to ensure that you have ample free storage space available on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here you will see the available storage space on your iPhone. You should maintain at least 15GB or more free storage space for the iPhone’s efficient operation.


OR


2) You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.

Which iPhone model is your iPhone?

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 


(2)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
