iphone and watch synced, but suddenly in the middle of the day the watch stops receiving info from the iPhone like notifications, etc. Both of them show that they are connected. Tried Bluetooth on/off, airplane mode, Wi-Fi on/off. Both on iPhone and watch.

no changes made on the iPhone reflects on watch like faces, grid layout etc. tried repairing and worked for 5 days and then the problem appeared again.

Currently experiencing the same issue. First day I had my ultra 2, everything worked. I wake up the next day and barely receive any notifications or not at all. I’ve re-set. I’ve repaired mutiple times. I’ve set it up as a new watch a second time. I’ll randomly get stuff for a little then it just stops again. I’m at my ends with it. Not sure what to do. I’ve had the watch for less than a week.

Something similar happened to me last week only a day or two after updating to 10.4. My Ultra 2 suddenly disconnected from my iPhone 14 Pro Max running 17.4. Not only would it not connect, but it would also randomly power cycle, and would turn back on by itself if I turned it off. After a whole day after my Watch wouldn't receive anything from my iPhone and the find my iPhone ping wouldn't work. I went into my Watch's settings (on the watch itself) and found that Bluetooth was off. No matter what I did, it would not turn back on. I couldn't even switch the little on/off button. After an hour of screen-sharing my iPhone's camera to show my watch with Apple Support and another 30 minute appointment with the Geniuses at my Apple Store, they couldn't figure it out either. After all that, I just received a replacement watch today since the AWU2 is still under warranty. Give Apple Support a message, they'll call and help you out. Hope this was of any help. Nothing like this had been posted when this happened to me last week.

An update:

Today it happened again. Watch stopped receiving inputs from the iphone. Both watch and iphone show they are connected. Did a bluetooth on/off on both of them, they disconnect and reconnect but no updates from the iphone goes to the watch.

The strange thing is that they show they are connected but they are not. That small green square is shown on the watch.

Do not know what else to do.

One more thing:

The weather stopped updating when this issue occur. It means the watch is not receiving any kind of information. Find my watch and sound reproduce only works when I reset the watch. I did a "sound reproduce trough find my iphone" on the watch and it reproduced the sound ONLY AFTER restarting the watch!
