Homepod is being configured

Dear,

I’ve bought my new apple homepod mini v17.3(21K646). Unfortunatelly after setting up I am getting message: HomePod is being configured. Additional settings will be available shortly… and this message is there for a days. I’ lve trial out to do factory reset, remove wifi password, but nothing solve an issue. Now my homepod mini is stucked and I do not know how to solve this issue. Please support me.

BR,

Branislav

It can take over a day to configure. Perhaps you became impatient waiting on the initial set up for this to go away and began doing the resets? Sometimes the factory resets don’t fully clear it off your Apple ID. I have noticed them being listed in my devices signed into iCloud following the procedure and this might be what the hold up is now. To see if this is the case, go into Settings on your iPhone - Your Name (at the top) - scroll down to see all devices listed and if you see this HomePod you can tap on that and scroll down to Remove from Account (in red) After this, try the set up again and hopefully it’s configured the following day.

I’d also reboot the wifi modem for good measure before attempting set up.

This is what eventually worked for me when it was stuck configuring. Hope this helps.
