hi! my 18th birthday is on friday :) my parents have set extreme limits on my screen time on the “family” section of settings. i am part of the apple “family” and am curious if the screen time restrictions stop once i turn 18? is it automatic or do my parents have to turn it off themselves?and say it does turn off automatically… since they have forced me to join their “family” in settings, will they just be able to turn it back on?

It will not turn off automatically. However, you can leave your family sharing group to remove the restrictions yourself (please note you will loose access to any subscriptions your family members may share with you)

i am unable to leave it now, since they have set the screen time restrictions. it has to be changed from the guardians phone. will this change on my birthday?
