Macbook Pro M1 will not connect to WiFi router (Eero 6 Pro 6E) after Sonoma 14. 4 update, howeverr, it will allow me to join my iPhone as a hot spot.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.6

First try Power Cycling your WiFi router by unplugging for 30 seconds and then repluging in.


If that does not work try the following.


Select the Apple menu > System Preferences > Network. Remove your Wi-Fi connection by selecting then pressing "-.” Re-add by pressing "+" and selecting Wi-Fi from the drop-down. Press Create, then Apply.

Hey, I just upgraded my fiber internet to Eero pro 6e and ever since, my 16" M1 Pro Macbook hates everything. It'll connect to my hotspot, and even a cable service, but not my fiber internet provider... I took it to the macstore to check it out, it connected to their wifi no probs... I think it has something to do with the "6E" routers... the M1 Pro does not have the support.
