Direct X 12 games fail to run on MacBook Pro with a Nvidia GT 750M

my 2014 MacBook Pro with a Nvidia GT 750M when launching SOME Direct X 12 games refuses to run eg. Fortnite will only let me use Direct X 11. Fortnite throws this error throws it seems like this a a pretty easy fix on amd gpu based macs but idk about Nvidia

apple never made a driver or added support for video cards from nvidia and or amd

with bootcamp there is no apple layer between windows and the hardware

what bootcamp is really is 3 separate things

  1. a bootloader that controls which operating system gets launched (running directly on the hardware no middle layer)
  2. a tool to partition the harddrive making a place for windows to be natively installed
  3. a zip of drivers for the hardware, where very few of those are developed by apple, the netcard driver is from the netcard chip manufactuer and soundcard and video card. and so forth, only stuff like the webcam and support for touch bad and mice gestures are developed by apple

but even if apple was somehow in the mix of "supporting" nvidia or amd or the likes then I view bootcamp as being dead, its not a thing on the cpus in new apple computers today, windows 11 never had official support in bootcamp and I doubt it ever will.

I have attempted to install the drivers multiple times, but unfortunately, they only support Windows 10, which I do not have. I am currently using Tiny 11. Although I have managed to install the drivers for Windows 10, they do not seem to fix the issue. Even when I was running Windows 10, the drivers did not work properly. It would be great if Apple could improve their Nvidia support.
