Safari bookmarks revert back to default

My Safari bookmarks keep reverting back to default. I have iCloud synced and I can see my own bookmarks on my iPhone, but they won't sync on my Mac. Additionally, I can edit them and add the ones that I want but the next time I open Safari they go back to the default ones. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Safari bookmarks don't synch properly The bookmarks of Safari just won't synch properly between my devices. I have iCloud synch enabled on all my devices, and sometimes the synchronisation works. But then it just stops synching my reading list while still synching my bookmarks. Other times it just synchronises the history but not the bookmarks or reading list. Sometimes I add a bookmark on one device, and it shows up on the other device after a few hours, but sometimes it even takes days or weeks. I have a stable internet connection, all devices are up-to-date. I've done the standard check list, I've deleted the plist. What else should I do?

Sync bookmarks When I am on Safari for both iPhone and iPad I won’t to edit my bookmarks. I cannot do it because it always says syncing bookmarks. Does anyone know why it is doing this. Also how to edit bookmarks would be helpful.

Hi. No i still have this problem. Unfortunately any solution I tried did not work.
