My iPhone SE 2020 is overheating and a bit laggy after IOS 17.4 Update.


Is anyone else facing familiar issues?

Devices normally do get warm after an OS upgrade. This is due to some optimization and re-indexing that is happening in the background. Your iPhone SE 2020's processor should be fine - best if you can let it do this and not play games, stream or watch videos, to speed up the optimization process.


If your iPhone 'overheats' after 72 hours, then maybe it is time you bring it in for an inspection by Apple's support people.
