Bug Report: Images in WordPress Gallery Not Visible in Safari
Description:
Images in the gallery of a WordPress website are not visible when accessed via Safari browser. However, on devices that haven't undergone the recent update, the images are visible. Interestingly, if Safari is briefly closed and then reopened, the images become visible.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Access the WordPress website containing a gallery of images using Safari browser.
- Navigate to the gallery section of the website.
- Observe that the images within the gallery are not visible.
- Close Safari browser.
- Reopen Safari browser.
- Navigate back to the gallery section of the website.
- Observe that the images within the gallery are now visible.
Expected Behavior:
Images within the gallery should be consistently visible without requiring Safari to be closed and reopened.
Actual Behavior:
Images within the gallery are not visible initially when accessed through Safari. They only become visible after Safari is closed and reopened.
Environment:
- Device: iPhone/iPad (iOS)
- Browser: Safari
- Website: WordPress
- Gallery: Contains multiple images
Additional Information:
- The issue seems to occur specifically on devices that have undergone the recent update.
- This behavior is not observed on devices that have not received the update.
- Closing and reopening Safari temporarily resolves the issue, suggesting a possible browser caching or rendering issue.
