Deleting Images in Finder but 'hopefully' not in Keynote

Good day, I use many images (from dreamstime for example) in various keynote presentations. I saved them all in a folder in Finder. My question: If I delete the image in die Finder file, will the image still remain available in the Keynote presentations where I used them? I just need to open up some space on my mac; and in addition, I don't like to have unnecessary duplicates? Kind regards :-)
