Apple Pay, Unable to link card contact Card issuer for more information
This is not the first time I use Apple Pay I’m from Malaysia using Malayan Bank Maybank
Two weeks ago I got my new Visa card so I tried to add the card to Apple wallet and I am very sure this bank support Apple wallet and started from that day I’m unable to add card to my wallet At first I called Maybank and they try everything at their end which is
Reset my MSOS AKA THE OTP
THEY ALSO RESET THE TOKEN
For me and yet still not working so they sent an email to Apple and Walah Maybank told me Apple replied them asking me to wait for 24 hours and give another try so I wait it’s not working after 24 hours of waiting, so I contact Apple support ,and within this two week I have been hand over to 5 different agent the first one didn’t do any escalating just asked me to contact PNO payment network operator which is visa or master and yet Apple don’t have the contact number for me so I called the bank and the bank said they don’t even know what is PNO Walah ok , so I directly called to Visa and Visa told me to request turn on my visa 3ds and that’s the only conclusion they have so ok I called back to my bank and told them regarding this they told me it’s already on that is the merchant thing turn on default so nothing much I can do and not even related , I went to the bank next day I change my card to a master platinum debit card hopefully changing card can work after getting the card it’s still not working so I called to Apple and this agent it’s quite good diagnosed my phone didn’t found any issue and also asking me try to turn off advance, data protection in the settings I try all the troubleshooting just one last step I haven’t tried which is factory reset my phone , Apple have no solution so I did a few testing I use my mum phone link my card and that’s the first time I see my card in Apple wallet it’s beautiful but in my in mom phone! So never mind I’ve wait for another few days and giving another another try still not working I also tried to reset all settings reset network settings sign out of Apple ID and sign back in log into a different Apple ID check region and all the troubleshooting and no VPN
I feel horrible because when I go to the forum I realize this happening for quite some times and even some people are using the latest iPhone and yet months and months of waiting still haven’t solve !!! Apple telling me they are not blocking anyone to use Apple Pay but seems like I’m blocked or technical issues and please be informed I also called to the master debit company and Wallah me back to my bank
Note I’m able to add wise virtual visa card with no issue but as long as a casa account aka proper bank card it’s a same error, I even try with other card same error message
And there is an unusual error message pop-up if I keep adding Card it will say
Could Not Connect to Apple Pay
Apple Pay is temporarily unavailable.
It’s a little bit glitchy
Does anyone want to escalate this problem
