Need help styling title text in iMovie for ipad

I saw on a Youtube video that it is possible to change the styling of title text in a movie edited with imovie for ipad. The video shows that when you click on "Titles" and select a type (e.g., Gravity, Prism), a menu appears beneath that allows you to change the font's color and size. Furthermore, the video shows a person changing the size of the title by pinching it.

On my ipad (5th generation), however, none of this is possible. When I click on "Title" and select a type, no Edit menu appears.

Would love to figure out how to get that menu on my ipad.
