Why doesn't my iPhone XR have an eSIM option?
Hi so I was wondering why on my iPhone XR it doesn’t have an eSIM option is that bc it doesn’t come on that phone or is it just my phone

Anecdotally, I’ve found that the “Add eSIM” option didn’t consistently appear until I had already added the 1st eSIM.
Don’t know if this was due to the device, my carrier, or the iOS at the time. (it’s been a couple of years)
However, if your phone has an IMEI2 listed, it IS eSIM’able.
