Issue with Google Pay on iPhone

I have recently switched on to IPhone 15 pro max and experiencing an erratic issue using Google Pay. The verification SMS is not getting sent through my primary number (physical SIM). However, I am able to use Phone Pe and other UPI apps seamlessly. Unfortunately, despite reaching out to your customer support more than thrice, no feasible resolution is provided yet. It is a technical glitch or gimmick?! Early solution is awaited.

You will need to contact google for support. This is true of any app you use that was not developed by Apple. Developers are responsible for testing/support of their own apps and Apple will not be able to tell you what is wrong with it. Google does offer setup instructions for iPhone:

And specifically for not getting a verification code on any device:

Some solutions they provide are:

  • Checking you google account settings
  • Your mobile data is turned on.
  • Airplane mode is turned off.
  • You have a strong cellular signal.
  • Restart app and device
  • Contact Google Pay Support
