Does iPhone 15 work with EU esim

I would like to buy an iPhone 15 Pro and take it overseas.

My question is if it will work with EU eSIM data plans or it works only with US ones?

I am buying it without carrier plan.

As long as it’s not carrier locked, it will work with an eSIM from any supported carrier.
