Program a Scale/Run to Trigger When you Press a Note?

Hi! I was wondering if there’s a way to program a scale/run to trigger when you press a specific note. Kinda like automatic harp glisses or like in the Legally Blonde Keyboard 2 Book the magical ep run being triggered to play on C’s.

I’ve looked into how to make it happen, but I can’t figure it out.

One of the methods was using Chord Trigger, Arpeggiator, and another Chord Trigger, but for that you need to hold down on the note in order for the sequence to play, and it doesn’t stop at the end of the sequence (ie release hand at the right time).

There was also another way with Mainstage’s sampler, but it didn’t seem to match what I’m picturing.

Both make sense, but I thought there was a way to have a scale/run, trigger with a note, and you could put it to a set tempo

Is there? Thanks!
