In Zoom conferences, videos embedded in my Keynote presentations can't be seen

I have the latest version of Zoom and am using Keynote 13.2. When I give a Keynote presentation over Zoom, videos embedded in my presentation are un-viewable by the audience. I can see them on my screen, but viewers just get a black box where the video would be. I got video to be viewable the other day, but I frantically clicked so many different check boxes between Zoom and Keynote that I have no idea how I did it. Perhaps I'm sharing wrong? I share my screen in Zoom and then hit play in Keynote, which then makes the presentation full-screen. What am I missing here?

I solved my own problem. For those who encounter this in the future, here's the step-by-step solution:

• Make sure Keynote is set to “In Window” under its Play menu.

• Enter meeting.

• Zoom will take over the entire screen – hit escape to see desktop.

• Get made co-host.

• In Zoom Control Bar, click ‘Share Screen’

• Check ‘Share Computer Sound’ – use carat to choose ‘Stereo.’

• Check ‘Optimize for Video.’

• Choose ‘Desktop 1.’

• Play Keynote deck

• While in Keynote deck, roll over ‘You Are Screen Sharing’ message to get Zoom Control Bar.

• In the Zoom Control Bar, click ‘New Share’

• Choose the Keynote deck’s window.

Viewers should see the Keynote deck as the main window on the viewer’s screen, with a row of fellow viewers on the right side.

• If viewers see a big black box where the deck should be, go to the Zoom Control Bar and click ‘New Share.’

• Choose the Keynote deck’s window.

Viewers should see the Keynote deck as the main window on the viewer’s screen, with a row of fellow viewers on the right side.

• Run through the deck and make sure viewers can hear/see audio and video clips.
