i can't to add an account to mail app

I have a GoDaddy work email account and I want to add this account to the mail app on my Mac laptop.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.2

I'm attempting to add a new account to my mail app on my MacBook. I have followed the typical steps to take to add an email address, however even though it seems to have gone through, the new email is still not added to my mail app, and I cannot receive or send emails through that account on the mail app, only when I open a browser and use Gmail, what can I do?

GoDaddy handed over email to Microsoft 365
