"This app is not available on your country or region" on iPhone when scanning a QR code

I’m having issues with QR codes that were previously working fine before . Now it’s , coming up with “preview reels”

instead of the instagram page for example when I scan it . And then it comes up with “This app clip is not currently available in your country or region” when I press on it.

the QR codes work on QR scanning apps perfectly fine too.

it just seems to be the iPhone camera.

I use the codes as part of my business , is this a known bug ?

i have iPhone 15 pro and it’s doing the same on my old iPhone 13 pro.

I am a graphic designer and this is becoming a wide issue in the last 48 hours. Majority of QR codes connected to a link starting with "https://www." is not scanning. It is coming up saying "preview reels" than "not available in your country. I know over a dozen businesses that just lost a collective $30-$40 grand if this is not fixable. @Apple @AppleSupport PLEASE REPLY. PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE ASAP.

From what I can gather, it appears that the IG app updated over the weekend and has a glitch that is preventing iPhones from scanning QR codes. Hopefully they will update the app soon and resolve it. In the meantime, you can still scan the code from within the IG app (but it's a hassle)
