iPhone journal entry deleted

I completed a journal entry yesterday. Today I opened it and it was highlighted and when I started to add to it it deleted . Where did it go? Can I recover it?

Journal for iPad ?? I have tried to use Journal on the iPhone but its so hard to type, you cannot add photos within the text, now on 18.3 and still missing, have tried loads and all are very limiting, from watching youtube videos the apple journal app looked perfect even went out and bought a new ipad with a pen to take advantage of it but now gutted, where is it?

Apple Journal entries disappeared on my iPhone 14 Pro Max I have been writing in the Apple journal app and had switched all my entries from notes to the journal app. last night I opened the app to begin a new entry but all my previous journal entries in the app were gone. iCloud backup does not restore them. I tried. I googled. I searched. ive learnt a few lessons here and wont be using that journal app again. anyone else experience this? If so what is the solution? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Did you maybe find a solution? The same thing happened to me, I wanted to edit my entry, and I accidentally deleted it without the undo option working.

Is there any way to restore app as it was yesterday so that I can get back my entry? :(
