Can find my be turned off when in lost mode?

The phone's location is not displaying for one or more of the reasons listed below:

• The battery has run down
• The phone was powered off
• The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is currently located
• The thief has placed the phone in a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to send or receive a signal

Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do about this other than keep checking a few times each day to see if the status of the phone might have changed.
