Can't play KQED on Homepod/Apple Music

On Thursday everything was working fine. On Friday, every Homepod started responding to "Siri, play KQED" with "NPR News, KQED San Francisco now playing. *after a pause* Sorry, there was a problem with Apple Music." When I try to play "NPR News - KQED San Francisco" in Apple Music directly it simply stops within a second and does not play any sound. My father, at a different location entirely, is encountering an identical problem so it doesn't seem isolated to me, but I can't find mention of anyone else having this problem recently. All other Apple Music playlists/music seems to be just fine. KQED played from other sources, App/browser, works just fine.

I encountered this problem after the 17.3 update but was still able to play directly on my iPhone and it resolved itself within a day. Homepod's are up to date with 17.3, iPhone is 17.3.1, all other Apple devices in my network are up to date.

Anyone of an idea of what might be going on?

Same here. I get the error message “'NPR News - KQED San Francisco' is no longer available on Apple Music” when I attempt to play this content via Apple Music on Sonos - which has been working fine for a long time. You can easily listen to KQED via their app, however, the streaming quality is much lower than if you listened via Apple Music, which is why I was using Apple Music – it had a much higher bit rate and sounded much much better on good speakers.

i’m hoping that it’s a temporary thing and Apple Music will eventually restore KQED to its service.
