IPhone 14 won’t play videos I recorded through the camera app!!

I have an iPhone 14 Plus. I use iCloud to sync up all my photos, etc. I did have optimize storage for photos turned on, but now have it as download and keep originals. I can record a video with my iPhone…. However, I can not play it back! I can even text a family member the video and they can play it on their iPhone with no problems. This is the same before and after I changed the setting to download and keep originals (it has been a week on our super fast internet since I made this change!!) I also have cellular data turned on for photos. I feel as though this is a simple setting I need to change…. But I am at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can view the videos on my iPhone that I just recorded through my camera app? Thank you so much for any help you can give!
