Apple Watch Compatibility with Iphone 14
I recently read that only certain Iphones are compatible with the newer Apple watches. What is the most compatible watch for an Iphone 14 iOS 16.6?

There is absolutely no reason your iPhone should not be using the latest iOS version (17.3).
Once you update your iPhone, it will support the latest Apple Watch hardware and software. Until you do that, it will not.
