Group Addressing

I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)on an iMac Pro. I am trying to send to a "group" selected from my Contacts list. Although I have UNCHECKED the Pages "settings" box. When I click on the Group in Contacts, all the email addresses appear in the "To" line. How can I configure to show only the name of the group, not all the addresses? Thanks

Mac Mail addresses not showing in Contact App Hello! So, I know I have many email addresses that are somehow stored in my Mac Mail because they populate as I type the beginning of the address. But, when I open the Contacts App these addresses do not show in the individuals contact. How do I get these addresses from Mac Mail to my Contacts app? The goal is to send a group email to all of my business contacts by selecting their name/email address from a list. I think I can do that from Contacts if the emails are there. But if I were to try to do that in Mac Mail now I believe I would have to type each email address. Many thank yous! Stephen

Email contact groups not working Mail won't allow entry of a contact group as a recipient in TO, CC or BC since upgrading to Monterey. When I type in the contact group the name of the group appears in a drop down list but when selected only the group name appears on the recipient line. If I send the e-mail after selecting the group name no one on the list receives the email. Previously there was an option to expand the group and see the recipient list - not so now. Pressing + and going to Contacts won't let me select the group either. I lost the ability to use smart groups in Contacts with Catalina but could still use groups. Has the ability for Mail to use any type of group in Contacts been eliminated? If not, does anyone know how to correct this behavior?
