How do I set a familiar location
For stolen protection how do I set a familiar location of places I go to once or more a week, like my moms

There are no separate controls provided for selecting a location as a significant location, nor does Apple provide a list of those locations, nor does Apple publish details of their selection algorithms.
There is, however, a means to delete the entire list of significant locations.
