I installed Windows 10 on my old 2011 MacbookPro, which works fine, but the external monitor does not work. I don't know what is causing the issue because when I use Mac OS the external display works fine. I have tried a few suggestions online like using different DVI and HDMI, but none of them seems to work.
If anyone has fixed this issue before I could use a solution here.

do windows view the video card as the one installed or does it just view it as a generic vga driver if the later that is your culprit
