my disk array is not powering up.

The drives seem fine, but the Drobo will not start properly. The unit needs to be replaced. My question is this: As long as I maintain the order of the drives, can I just plug in the drives a different array and it would work?

Apple 2 E Disk Drive Not Working Hi everyone here: I am not sure this is something anyone here can answer for me. I recently bought an Apple 2 E from an yard sale. The system works great however after about 4 days of using it the system seemed to stop reading floppy disks. The drive seemed to work one moment and the next it just starts up and makes noise like the drive is spinning all the time even when there is no disk in the drive. I tried removing the disk drive card in the system and putting it in another jack on the main system board but that did not seem to help. After returning it to the original jack it seemed does the same thing. I still have the Apple 2E and I would like to be able to read the disks that came with it and be able to use the book that teaches me how to program on it and save what I do on disk. But with out a working drive it makes it hard to use the entire system. Perhaps I should take the system to my local Apple store for there advice. Thanks for any advice anyone has

Disc Utility first aid stopped working Disc Utility first aid stopped working. I have 4 drives 2 portable, time machine and another back up. The time machine started having issue like not mounting. So I used the First aid and it does not work on all 4 devices, its just hangs and nothing happens. It used to work 100%, showing verified disk is OK, what happened? Thanks. High Sierra.

iBook G4 Ssd issue Hello all, I recently acquired a 2004 1.33ghz iBook g4 with a failing but still working HDD. So I went on Ebay and bought an ide to msata adapter and a 64gb msata ssd. upon installation it is not recognized by the computer in the tiger installer and doesn't show up in disk utility at all. Even when putting the computer into target disc mode, nothing..... However the adapter board and ssd were getting hot so they must be getting power. So for giggles I tried throwing in the original hdd and it booted but then when I removed it and tried the ssd again nothing. The next time I tried the hdd it didn't boot. I even tried another ide hd that I had laying around which honestly was probably dead too and it didn't mount. I ordered a KingSpec dedicated pata ssd hoping to solve the problem. I tried reseting the pram no luck. My iBook has the ribbon cable that covers the whole connector and it looks like its in good shape so I'm not really sure what the problem is, any ideas?? thanks in advanced, Joe
