1024 x 1024 cover photos don't work with Apple Business Connect

I've been resizing images for Apple Business Connect. I make the cover image 1024 x 1024 as instructed. Then after getting them uploaded the crop tool comes up and the space provided is way too small and you can only fit part of the image in the space provided. Anyone have a "fix" or way around this issue?

Cropping pictures does not change the size? I have MANY pictures on my devices. I don't want to risk losing them or not having them if I can't access the iCloud, so I keep the pics on my devices. I was trying to free up space by cropping some of the pics, since many have just the key point of interest in the center. I was very surprised after cropping several that when I checked the 'info' for the pics the size hadn't changed. Is this a glitch? Thanks in advance.

Apple Photos not remembering window size when opening This issue (and it is an issue) has only been happening for about a month or so, but it's really frustrating and something has changed that I can't figure out. When opening Apple Photos, the window size is a relatively small square size, so I'll maximise the application. That gets reset when I open Photos back up. Even after immediately maximising the application, and quitting, as soon as I re-open it, it opens up in it's smaller square size. Can someone please help me with this and tell me why this is happening and how I can stop it so it always opens maximised? It never used to do this!

Photos cropping tool does not work right in latest update! Can not just crop a side or a top, wants to shrink the whole photo? Am I doing something wrong? Just trying to crop a photo, but with today's update it wants to bring in sides too? what's up?
