iOS 17.3 Update: Issue with Apple Music

The recent iOS 17.3 update has adversely affected the functionality of Apple Music by removing the “Play Last” option, complicating the process of queueing multiple albums or songs. This is a huge mistake that makes the app nearly unusable for me (and I’m sure, many others)

Problem Description:

• Key Change: Removal of the “Play Last” option in Apple Music

• Current Limitation: Only the “Play Next” option is available for albums, songs, or any media added to the queue.

• Impact: Difficulty in managing music queues, particularly for sequential album play.

User Experience:

Example Challenge: To queue multiple albums (e.g., three albums in succession), the user must:

• Select albums in reverse order.

• Use “Play Next” for each selection.

• Manually reorder the currently playing song to its original position.

• Result: This process is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Can anyone else confirm they are having this issue?

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

After restarting my phone, repeatedly force quitting, and reopening the app, as well as toggling between controlling my HomePod and iPhone via the "Control Other Speakers & TVs" menu, I finally got it to work. I switched back to just managing the iPhone and then cast audio to my HomePod using AirPlay, without directly controlling them from that menu.

I am not sure which specific action fixed the issue.
