Help!! AirPods won’t delete from account

A while back, I borrowed my ex-boyfriend‘s AirPods while we were together. The AirPods linked to my Find My app. We have since broken up and I have given him his AirPods back but because they are still on my Find My app he is able to track my location. When I go into the Find My app, I am unable to delete the product delete is not an option. How do I remove this product from my Account
