Keynote "missingfonts" that were never used in the presentation.
Unfortunately, I created Keynote presentations for the classes I teach. There are more than 30,000 slides in the whole series of eight lessons (four years of classes). You can imagine that Apple's "updates" to Keynote have done great damage to hundreds of hours of work. MANY of the best transitions no longer work and are replaced with much worst ones. But, worst of all for me is the "Missing Fonts" fiasco. Of course, the fonts purchased from foundries (Adobe) are still in my Font Book, but apparently must be updated to versions with different font metrics. I have endured the "replace missing fonts" hassles. BUT there is one that is more than annoying. Every presentation's missing fonts include Gill Sans, Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Lucida Grande, and Marker Felt. NONE OF THOSE FINTS HAVE EVER BEEN USED IN ANY OF THESE KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS! (Sorry for yelling, but I am more than merely frustrated with Apple for doing this to us.
Do any of you know why those particular fonts always occur in the missing fonts list? AND, why each of them appear in the "Replace With" options?
Thank you for any help you can provide. I still have weeks of work to fix the mess Apple has made for my because I expected some consistency from them. Oh, how I miss Steve Jobs being at the helm. People would have lost their jobs at Apple for doing this to the customers!
