Privacy warning on Iphone 11

I am getting a privacy warning on my Iphone when I connect to my 5G wifi network, but not when I connect to 2.4G. My router is set to WPA2-psk (AES). This just started happening recently.

Thanks for the response, but that is what I am confused by. My router is WPA2 AES. Here is the screenshot of my message and it only occurs on my 5G connection. If I connect on 2.4G it doesn't have the warning. My suspicion is Apple is looking for WPA3, but it would be nice to confirm that. I don't have a concern since I am on WPA2 AES, but don't like my Iphone telling me there's an issue if there really isn't.

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...

Consider more secure wifi configuration.

Change your router’s WiFi to use WPA2-AES (CCMP) with no WPA or TKIP. Updating this setting ensures that your devices always connect in one encryption mode

  1. TKIP is obsolete and not considered secure. Choose WPA2, the latest encryption standard, with AES encryption for optimal security
  2. If your router doesn’t specify TKIP or AES, the WPA2 option probably uses AES
