Trouble connecting bluetooth to UConnect

I have an iPhone 15 that is completely up to date and it will not recognize my vehicles UConnect in bluetooth when I go to pair them. I have the bluetooth searching for new devices and even when the vehicle i'm trying to pair with is on and in range, it will not show up on the bluetooth new devices list. Is this a UConnect software issue or an iPhone issue?

Another thing, I have Handsfree in my car and when it is plugged into the USB port it wont connect to Apple carplay, any suggestions?

iPhone 15, iOS 17

Mine has just quit for no reason. Worked this morning, not aware of any changes to truck or phone. Phone connects as paired phone but not as an audio source. Deleted phone from truck uconnect and deleted uconnect from phone. Paired fresh on the audio sources screen. Connects and even says it’s for audio and phone. Shows phone connected on paired phones but not audio. Manually connecting on paired audio screen, uconnect says phone is not in range. Even though it says it’s connected on paired phones screen. Can do Siri via uconnect but not music etc. Very strange it suddenly quits working between morning and night.
