my TikTok account, lockenalod, is linked to my apple account and I can’t access it. I was told by TikTok support that the problem is on apple’s side.

Same problem here. 2y trying to solve.
There's a bug between Tik Tok Social Signing with Apple, that's sad.
I never had a different email with Apple but dosen't work it.
Was create in early days 5y ago, with Iphone 7 and today the some AppleID do not work anymore.
Tik Tok support said that was a Apple problem, but Apple don't have a Tik Tok deppartment, so... we are in a black role...

Apple has no control over your TikTok account. You must be having another issue with your account such as a password problem or they have blocked your account. They should have given you a specific solution the the problem as they are the only ones that are able to view your TikTok account details and it is not unusual for them to say it is not their problem. Unless we are missing some other details about your issue, you will need to continue with TikTok support for a solution.
