Can not install windows using bootcamp on intel Mac A1706

The problem started when I installed Ubuntu and I was unable to boot into windows. It would just show a blank screen. I searched online and understood that it was a common issue after installing ubuntu which created hybrid MBR and prevented from booting into windows. I tried several things to fix it using Mac terminal $ sudo gdisk /dev/disk0 as instructed in some forums but nothing worked. I went to disk utility in recovery mode and wiped everything clean, I tried reinstalling Mac OS both from HD and external USB nothing worked.

So now when hit option key and try to boot into bootcamp it just takes me through initial windows setup and at the end restarts and just boots into Mac OS. I also tried setting startup disk to bootcamp but it doesn't help either. I did the Command+option+p+r to reset but still didn't work. I spent 16 hours trying to fix this please help me. I need windows to work for school and I can't buy another laptop. Thank You so much !

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.7
