Band for Apple Watch is too tight, how to get it changed?

I measured the watch ban exactly as stated, using the template provided. I was clearly on line #1 for the smallest of the band lengths. The band is too tight. Is there a way to get another band for my new series 9 watch?

Need next size up band. How do I get it at no charge?

Can I partially exchange my ocean blue band for a bigger sized one? It's very snug and It's a little difficult to put on.

Contact Apple to ask if you can exchange the watch band for the correct size or if the entire watch has to be returned and reordered. If it is one where it can be exchanged you can either go to your local store to do it or you would have to do the exchange via mail. When I needed to exchange my magnetic link band it would have required sending the entire watch back in for some reason (according to suppport only the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop bands could be exchanged without doing a full return). This is all assuming of course you are still in your return/exchange period. If you are no longer in that exchange period you would have to purchase the correct size and perhaps sell the one that came with your watch.
