Family Sharing Refers to Child's Last Name

My son's Apple ID is set up with his first and last name. When managing his screen time, he is referenced by his last name instead of first, "Managing "Last Name's" Screen Time. In the same section for all of his siblings, who each have their own Apple IDs, their first name is used. How do I update my son's account so his first name is used?
