Using Vintage Theme in slideshow

is it possible to change the groupings of photos is the slideshow - vintage theme... ie some slides have two photos and some have a single. Is it possible to change this in either the basic slideshow option or in Projects??

Option to revert to previous Album Slideshow? As many Apple Community members have written, in iOS 18 the Photo Album slideshow appears only as a "movie," saved in "Memories." So now the view pans slowly over only a portion of a photo; sometimes segments of two or three photos appear together on the screen, then slide away. This “movie” is nice for those who like such things. But, is there an option or way I can return to the standard slide show format of pre- iOS 18? Specifically, I value the ability to create a slide show displaying my own complete photo, one at a time (with my own cropping apparent if I’ve done any), in the order I created in my album (and with music I choose). I’m troubled by the fact that a slideshow I had created as I wanted (using iOS17 on my iPad) now shows up on my iPhone in iOS 18 as a wholly different thing! I’ll make sure NOT to update to iOS 18 on my iPad at this point! I’d very much value any help or advice. And I ask others similarly concerned to send a plea to Apple that they restore the older slideshow at least as an option. Thank you.

The sequence of templates is fixed for the slideshow themes with more than one item per slide. It is hard to tell a story when using these themes, because Photos will rearrange the sequence of photos to match the templates.

I avoid these themes and stick with the themes with only one photo per slide.

When I need to use more than one photo per slide, I create my slideshow as a Keynote presentation. In Keynote I can control the layout of the slides more flexibly an, also the animation and the sound track. But it is a lot of work.
