Windows 10 Bootcamp GPT error, iMac Late 2012 macOS Catalina

My wife wanted to play a Windows game, so I decided to reinstall Windows 10 on her 2012 iMac, process works fine, but when I get to the installation drive, I get this error:

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of GPT partition style".

Are there any workarounds for this without installing a really old version of Windows and then upgrading?

I really appreciate any help. Thanks.
