Kindle app not working on ipad
Yesterday evening when I went to open kindle app it opened and then closed out of it. I restarted the iPad and updated it. It is still doing the same thing. My kindle app is v.7.0 and iOS is 17.2

I called customer service. Whomever I spoke to said that they already knew that there’s an issue and are working on it. I wasn’t given a timeframe for repair, they just said that I could read online @ read.amazon.com

I have now taken the advice of others, deleted and reinstalled the app and now all is working properly again. It would be interesting to know what caused the problem though.
Frustrating that I have the same problem on both my iPhone and iPad in the last two days. I have not changed anything and all other apps working fine so I don’t think the problem is at my end. Has anything else changed that I need to respond to?
When you deleted and reinstalled the Kindle app, did you retain the books stored on your iPad? I'm hesitant to deleted the app because I've got 20 plus books in my library I can't afford to lose. Thanks.
